Changes and Adjustments

So Herman has started his new job. His first day was yesterday. The shift was a lot longer than I had expected, and I hadn't recieved a call to let me know the change of plans, so I was rather upset with him when he finally did get home. Then he told me that he was being switched to working nights. :(

Tonight is his first night working, and I miss him already. Hopefully it will only be 6 weeks of this. I'm not sure I can do much more time without seeing him except on weekends.

My 6 day weekend is over, today was a long day, tomorrow is a doctor appointment, then a sub day, then finally back at George.

What doesn't kill us... makes us stronger

Well its been a while since I've been back to update. Its not that things haven't been happening; its just that times have been tough, and have taken a lot out of us.

Herman is facing having to find a new job. The company he works for has been unable to get many contracts, and Herman's hours have suffered drastically as a result. He has been hard at work finding a new one, and even has an interview on Friday.

Things have been difficult for me at work as well. The situation with my co- teacher has recently begun to come to a head, and it has made work just that much more stressful. Hopefully it will be resolved soon, or at least blow over. I am not a fan of drama, especially in the workplace.

Today is Valentines Day, but as finances are more than tight, we have opted (reluctantly to say the least) to cancel it for this year, or at least postpone it.
