2 hour delay? Lets write!

Well since I am on an unexpected 2 hour delay due to snow, I can finally find some time to update this. :)

Herman and I spent last weekend looking at new apartments and I fell in love with one over near my "work spouse" Nicole. (We see more of each other than we do our actual spouses, hence the term of endearment). It was more than we wanted to spend, especially since we do not intend to live with anyone except ourselves, so I had to sadly say goodbye. Not knowing whether I have a job next year or not due to budget cuts leaves us with no choice but to be frugal, just in case. Plus, my plan is to start my masters this fall at PSU. Plan A = work and go to school at night, Plan B = no job and go full time and just get it done.

Herman will be fishing this summer in Kodiak, so that will hopefully help offset the cost of going back to school.

Currently though, both of our jobs are going well, and we are looking forward to getting away this weekend to Lebanon to see some very dear friends who we have not been able to see for quite a while. This will mean no weekend middle school basketball tournaments for me to attend this weekend, and no hours of Diablo for Herman. Darn ;)

Well, I'm feeling like I should take advantage of an extra hour or so of sleep, so I'm signing off for now.
