After church today Herman and I went to the Roloff Farms pumpkin patch. For those of you who don't know, this is the home and farm of the family who has their own show, Little People, Big World. They live about 5 miles from us in Hillsboro.
Obviously the family isn't on hand at all times to been seen and met, but we lucked out and got to see the dad of the family, Matt. 
We did of course get a pumpkin as well. 
After our exciting pumpkin hunt, we drove around the neighborhood and looked at other farms. On our way we saw several farms of alpacas
We had a lovely fall afternoon, the weather was gorgeous, and even though I have a cold, it was nice to get out and experience all we were able to today.
Now we're off to carve up that pumpkin!
